Barry is currently CEO of Principled Policy Consulting, a public policy lobbying and political consulting firm. His activities include directing the legislative efforts of the organization in the state capital and helping to run state and national political campaigns.
He is the Founder and Executive Director of the Institute for Principled Policy, a Biblical public policy think tank and lobbying organization. The Institute seeks to educate and encourage Biblically consistent policies and candidates for office at the local, state and national levels.
Barry is the former State director of the American Family Association of Ohio, coordinating and executing direct activism at the local, state and national levels dealing with issues affecting our families, faith and freedoms.
Barry was a legislative aide in the Ohio House of Representatives from 1995-2003. Worked on many of the pro-family issues that have been before the General Assembly in that time frame. Primary areas of focus on educational issues (especially abstinence and sex ed issues), character development, the homosexual agenda and sexually oriented business issues.
Barry has a Bachelors Degree in Political Science from the Ohio State University. He is married with three children and is a member of Christ Covenant Reformed Presbyterian Church. He is also a member of the Ohio Council on Theology of the International Church Council Project.
Barry is an avid bowhunter and collector of antique and rare theological works dealing with the Reformation and reformed theology.
