Camp American 2010 Program and Instructors
The Program Coordinator of Camp American is Noelle Dielman. Noelle has a long suffering and supportive husband, Matt Dielman. She is a home schooling mother of three children- Lauren, Alexandra and Wesley. Noelle co-hosted a radio commentary program on Louisville, KY radio station WFIA for five years and she formerly sat on the Christian Heritage Center board of directors in an advisory position. She has been politically active most of her life and a Christian since 1986. Matt, Noelle and their family are members of Community Presbyterian Church in Louisville.
Noelle founded Camp American in 1999 after she became aware that there were no summer educational and recreational opportunities that met the exacting criteria that she had set. Her previous experience and the contacts she made as a camp counselor and camp communications director made her uniquely qualified to organize and direct the type of camp she envisioned. Her efforts to bring together both the finest instructors and staff and great counselors in a place where anyone could find fun culminated in the successful Summer 2000 Camp American held at Pokagon State Park in Angola, IN and all subsequent camps.
Home Schoolers! Camp American sessions can be counted towards Government, History, Civics and Economics credits.
